SpitFire — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information SpitFire (“we”, “us”, the “App”), operated by Pazulabs, collects and how it is used. SpitFire is operated from the United Kingdom.

What we collect
We have designed SpitFire to collect as little as possible. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any account sign-up.
1. Anonymous identifier. When you first open the App, we create a random, anonymous identifier for your device. We use it to provide the service — for example, to track how many roasts you have created so we can apply the free allowance and the weekly limit. It is not linked to your real-world identity.
2. Photos you choose. When you create a roast, the photo(s) you select are sent to our processing service and to the AI providers that generate the roast (see “Third parties” below). Photos are used only to generate your roast and are not stored on our servers after processing. Finished roast videos are stored only on your device, unless you choose to share them.
3. Subscription information. If you subscribe, we receive your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) from Apple via our payments provider, RevenueCat, so we can unlock Pro features. We do not receive or store your payment card details — payment is handled entirely by Apple.
4. Usage information. We record the number of roasts created against your anonymous identifier in order to enforce the free allowance and weekly limit.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not show third-party advertising.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites.
- We do not collect your location, contacts, or browsing history.
Third parties (sub-processors)
To generate roasts and run the service, your data may be processed by:
- Apple (App Store, in-app purchases)
- RevenueCat (subscription management)
- Supabase (backend and anonymous identity)
- Anthropic (analysing the photo and writing the lyrics)
- Suno / kie.ai (generating the music)
These providers process data only to deliver the relevant part of the service.
Data retention
Photos are processed transiently and are not retained on our servers after your roast is generated. Your anonymous identifier and roast counts are retained while you use the App. You can stop all collection at any time by deleting the App.
Children
SpitFire is rated 17+ and is not directed to children. The App is designed to refuse to generate roasts of anyone who appears to be under 18.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under UK GDPR), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Because our identifier is anonymous and we do not hold identifying information, the simplest way to delete all associated data is to delete the App. For any request, contact pazulabs@gmail.com.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
